Hand knotted wool rug

The Lahore carpet is an oriental carpet with a wonderful luster. The production is hand-knotted from high-quality New Zealand wool, which is dyed with natural dyes, on a cotton warp. Thanks to the very fine wool, the carpet has silky shine. The pile height is approx. 7 mm, so the carpet is also suitable for interiors with underfloor heating. The carpet was hand tied in a manufactory near the Pakistani city of Lahore.
